The Shasta Regional Transportation Agency (SRTA) got a report from the Redding Area Bus Authority (RABA) for the Fiscal Year 2025/26. This report covers July 2025 to June 2026. It shows how well the Coordinated Transportation Services Agency (CTSA) is doing using RABA-approved "rural" measures. RABA took over as the CTSA for the Shasta Region on July 1, 2025, and must send quarterly reports to SRTA. In March 2026, RABA combined CTSA and paratransit services to work better. Overall, CTSA ridership went down by 554 trips, a 5.3% drop from the year before. The drop might be because of the service combination, giving priority to paratransit riders, or other reasons. SRTA staff is asking RABA and Dignity Health Connected Living (DHCL) for more details on how combining these services affected things. Getting this report does not affect the budget. RABA gets paid back for providing eligible CTSA services up to five percent each year under the Transportation Development Act.
