This document changes Shasta County's 2025 Future Transportation Investment Plan (FTIP) to focus on safety. It suggests several projects to make roads safer in Shasta County and nearby areas. These projects include fixing curve warning signs on Routes 32, 36, 44, 70, 89, 139, 147, and 299, replacing old signs, barriers, and guardrails in Redding, and improving curves, widening shoulders, and adding guardrails and rumble strips in places like Montgomery Creek and Shingletown. It also plans to widen shoulders and add overhead lights in Anderson and Redding. The total cost for these projects is $76,395,000. $43,686,000 is for 2025, and the rest is for later years. The money will come from SHOPP Advance Construction funds, FHWA FTA funds, and state funds.
