This document changes Shasta's 2025 Future Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP) for the Redding Area Bus Authority (RABA). It adds new projects to buy buses and vans for the transit system. The projects include replacing four medium buses for Dignity Health, one cutaway bus for Paratransit Service, and four RABA cutaway buses. The total cost for these new vehicles is $696,000. Money for this comes from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Federal Transit Administration (FTA), and state funds. The money is spread out over several years. In 2025, $696,000 is needed. More funds of $174,000 are needed in 2026 and 2027. The goal is to update and replace older vehicles with newer, more efficient models. This will improve the region's list of planned transportation projects (the RTIP).
