Social Services Transportation Advisory Council (SSTAC)

Overview

The SSTAC is an advisory group appointed by SRTA to make transit-related recommendations, and is comprised of representatives from various user groups, like transit users, social services agencies providing transit for users or requiring transit services for its clientele, as well as group or individuals advocating walking/bicycling connections to transit. The SSTAC meets at least twice per year to provide recommendations to SRTA on "unmet transit needs that are reasonable to meet" and other transit coordination issues. The current meeting agenda may be downloaded one week prior to the meeting.

An SSTAC Fact Sheet, providing an overview of the advisory group, is available.

If you are interested in serving on SRTA's SSTAC, please contact Senior Transportation Planner Kathy Urlie or submit an application by May 2, 2022 to srta@srta.ca.gov.
